Join Our Team

At Not My Tummy, we’re more than a marketing firm — we’re storytellers helping parents pursuing surrogacy grow their families through creative marketing approaches. We believe in accessibility, innovation, and compassion, challenging the idea that everything about surrogacy and infertility has to be overwhelming or expensive.

We’re a small but mighty team that values kindness, big ideas, and attention to detail. Every day, our work has real meaning — supporting people who are dreaming of parenthood.

Opening: Content Strategist

Job Title: Content Strategist
Location: Virtual Remote (Ontario)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reports To: CEO

About the Role

We’re looking for a Content Strategist to be the glue that holds our client relationships and projects together. You’ll bring fresh, bold ideas to work every day to ensure our clients feel supported, organized, and heard, while also offering creative storytelling prompts for those using social media to match with a surrogate online.

This role is perfect for someone who is social media savvy, creative, and a self-starter. You’ll need to be comfortable managing your time independently, writing with impact, and spotting online trends that help tell our clients’ stories in meaningful ways.

Above all, you’ll balance the fun and creativity of this job with the sensitivity of our work — because at the heart of everything we do are people’s future families.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the friendly, reliable point of contact for your assigned clients.

  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and approvals to keep projects moving smoothly.

  • Write and edit engaging content for clients, from social media to blogs.

  • Spot and share online trends, bringing fresh, creative ideas to the table.

  • Maintain accurate client records and project documentation.

  • Support our team in crafting thoughtful, empathetic storytelling campaigns.

What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years’ experience in communications, marketing, social media management, or account coordination.

  • Strong writing skills and a love for clear, impactful communication.

  • Excellent time management skills — you juggle priorities without dropping details.

  • Confidence working independently and keeping yourself accountable.

  • Social media savvy — you understand platforms, trends, and what makes content resonate.

  • Strong emotional intelligence and empathy — you’re thoughtful with sensitive fertility journeys.

  • A creative spark and eagerness to bring new ideas forward.

Programs You’ll Use

Canva, Google Workspace, and all popular social media platforms.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us
  • Purpose-driven work: You’ll directly support people who are building the families they’ve always dreamed of.

  • Flexibility and remote work: We trust you to manage your time and thrive in your own way.

  • Professional development: We’ll support your continuing education so your skills keep growing.

  • NMT Days: Extra company-wide holidays — because sometimes we all just need a break.

  • Career growth: Opportunity to evolve into senior creative, client strategy, or leadership roles.

Compensation

$48,000–$58,000 CAD annually, depending on experience, plus benefits and eligibility for performance-based bonuses.

How to Apply

Send your resume and 2–3 creative writing samples that show your storytelling style to hello@notmytummy.com with the subject line CONTENT STRATEGIST ROLE.

Instead of a traditional cover letter, please answer the following two questions:

  1. What has your exposure to infertility and/or surrogacy been so far in social and legacy media? Do you think how you’ve seen these topics addressed to the general public are a fair representation and why? Feel free to share links to posts or stories that have caught your attention.

  2. Deep dive into the @notmytummy Instagram account and share - which post grabs your attention the most and why? How could it have been improved?

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the role is filled.
